Don Domingo Vicente Catena, Nicolás Catena Zapata's father, became one of Mendoza's largest vineyard owners and producers.

He was famous in the 1930s for his deep, dark red blend sold in the French-styled bistros of Buenos Aires—the Paris of South America—as the finest wine from the Mendoza region. Like his father before him, D.V. Catena fiercely believed that Argentine Malbec could make the best wines in Argentina.     

D.V. Catena Tinto Historico Red Blend is made to honor Don Domingo Catena and his legendary abilities as a Master of the Assemblage. 

This Cabernet shines alongside hearty, flavor‑driven dishes. Grilled ribeye, braised short ribs, or lamb chops with rosemary make natural companions, as do richer preparations like beef bourguignon or mushroom ragù. Aged cheddar, blue cheese, or a dark‑chocolate‑accented dessert can also highlight the wine’s plush fruit and structure.

The 'Pur Granite' is a light-bodied red wine made from 100% Gamay Noir grapes grown in the Beaujolais region of France.

Our Pràgal is an intriguing Veronese IGT red wine, a perfect blend of tradition and internationality. A fruity and spicy blend of Corvina, Merlot and Syrah, it presents an important structure and a pleasant elegance.

Its grapes come from vineyards with low yields, selected to guarantee the highest quality. One part of the grapes is vinified fresh, while the other is dried, to obtain a richer and more complex aromatic profile. After a long maceration and fermentation, the wine matures in large oak barrels in our historic winery located in Arbizzano di Negrar, in Valpolicella Classica.

In the Piemontese dialect, Arneis means ‘little rascal’ — it is notoriously finicky to grow. Correggia adeptly manages this by making several passes during harvest, to pick the fruit at perfect ripeness. He then blends the lots together to make a wine with ripe melon and stone fruit along with tart green apple and citrus. All of these flavors dance over a firm mineral core. 

This wine shows a bright ruby color with moderate depth. The nose is clean and expressive, offering red and dark fruit—cherry, raspberry, and plum—alongside notes of black pepper, dried herbs, and a subtle earthy undertone. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with balanced acidity and supple tannins supporting flavors of red berry, spice, and a touch of garrigue. The finish is dry, smooth, and moderately persistent, emphasizing drinkability and regional character.

The Corino family started farming in La Morra in the 1950s, transitioning from sharecroppers to estate bottlers under Giuliano Corino in the 1980s. Known for beautifully integrated oak, velvety textures, and meticulously managed tannins. Aromas of dried flowers, tea leaves, lavender, strawberry, and cherry, balanced by a medium- to full-bodied palate with supple tannins.
