Langhe Nebbiolo 2024

The Giacomo Fenocchio estate can be traced back to 1840, when the family uprooted from the comune of Dogliani and resettled in Monforte d’Alba inside a nascent wine zone that would come to be demarcated as Barolo. Officially founding the winery in 1864, the family amassed holdings in the historic Bussia vineyard of Monforte.

Traditional method of fermentation of the grapes in contact with the skins, without added yeasts, for around 10 days in stainless steel tanks. Six months in stainless steel tanks - six months in large Slavonian oak casks, successive maturation in the bottle. The color is a deep ruby red with garnet reflections and an intense and fruity bouquet of plum and cherry. The flavor is dry with good body, well balanced tannins and harmonious with hints of liquorice, rose and gudron.
