Just for Fun

In his book "Champagne: The Essential Guide to the Wines, Producers, and Terroirs of the Iconic Region", Peter Liem recommends using a flute or a white wine glass with a tulip-shaped bowl for Champagne.

Flutes are the traditional choice for Champagne and are designed to showcase the wine's bubbles and effervescence. However, Liem notes that flutes can sometimes mask the wine's aromas and flavors, as they tend to concentrate the aromas at the top of the glass.

Ultimately, the choice of glassware for Champagne comes down to personal preference, but Liem recommends experimenting with different types of glasses to find the one that best suits your taste and enhances your enjoyment of the wine.
