A lesser known grape from Muscadet that is bright and light with a bit of salinity. Oyster wine.

100% Folle Blanche from organic vineyards in Vallet, not far from Nantes in Muscadet.

Folle Blanche is a type of white grape variety commonly grown in the Loire Valley region of France, as well as in other parts of the country. It is often used to make high-quality white wine, particularly in the appellations of Muscadet and Gros Plant.

Just for Fun

Vallet is a town located in the Loire Valley region of France, which is known for its delicious cuisine and many regional dishes. One classic regional dish from Vallet is "Fricassée de Poulet au Muscadet," which is a chicken stew cooked with Muscadet wine.

To make this dish, chicken pieces are first browned in a pan with onions and garlic, then simmered with a mixture of Muscadet (sub Folle Blanche) wine and chicken broth until tender. The dish is then flavored with herbs such as thyme and bay leaves, and finished with a touch of cream to create a rich and flavorful sauce.
